Black Garlic Chicken, Juicy Umami Glaze in 30 Minutes

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, or breasts
- 2 tbsp I Love Black Garlic Puree
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar, or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil, plus more for cooking
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger, optional
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pinch of fine sea salt
- Garnish, sliced green onions and sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix the marinade In a bowl whisk black garlic puree, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, olive oil, sesame oil, ginger, pepper, and salt until smooth.
- Marinate Add chicken and coat well. Rest 20 minutes at room temperature, or up to 12 hours in the fridge.
- Sear Heat a large skillet on medium high with a drizzle of oil. Cook chicken 5 to 6 minutes per side until browned and 165°F inside.
- Glaze Pour remaining marinade into the pan. Simmer 1 to 2 minutes until thick and glossy. Toss to coat the chicken.
- Serve Slice and spoon sauce over the top. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
